A sneak peek of a new Tarot deck I am designing:

TAROT CHIMERA ~ The Arcana of Odilon Redon

This deck features the enigmatic prints and paintings of the French Symbolist artist digitally enhanced and formatted to Tarot. This 86 card deck, which includes 8 oracle cards, features all the chimeric beings that infused Redon’s symbolic and dream-infused world, uncanny and nightmarish, and stunningly beautiful.

Redon’s work imprinted onto my bones during my early years as an Art School undergrad, and it’s an honor to interpret his art from the perspective of the “chimera” for contemporary tarot, presented in luscious sepia, grayscale, and duotone. I am also writing a 200 page, full-page interpretations companion book which will be available to purchase alongside the deck. The themes of the cards are based on the Rider-Waite-Smith deck system.
